The easiest way to manage the surcharge system (recargo de equivalencia) in your online store. This module allows you to automatically apply the surcharge to customers or customer groups who require it, directly from the PrestaShop back office. Save time on your accounting and forget about complex configurations: with this specialized solution, you can comply with this special VAT regime quickly and without complications.
What is the "recargo de equivalencia"?
The "recargo de equivalencia" is a special VAT regime in Spain, mandatory for self-employed retailers who sell products without transforming them (i.e., directly to the end customer). If your business customers are subject to this regime, you know that managing the surcharge correctly on every invoice can be cumbersome. This module helps you automate and simplify that task, ensuring your invoices reflect both VAT and the surcharge correctly and in compliance with current regulations.
Key advantages of the module
- Flexible assignment: apply different types of surcharges depending on the VAT rate (standard, reduced, super-reduced, etc.) and assign this regime to individual customers or entire groups with just a few clicks.
- Accurate billing: the module automatically calculates and adds the corresponding surcharge to orders and invoices for selected customers, avoiding manual errors or discrepancies. Your invoices will show the proper breakdown of VAT and surcharge to comply with current laws.
- Time saving: forget about manual adjustments or creating complex rules in PrestaShop. With this tool, surcharge management is natively integrated into your store, simplifying your daily tasks and eliminating headaches.
- Simple integration: no strange configurations or advanced technical knowledge required. The module is easily installed and works seamlessly with other PrestaShop features, respecting the platform's quality standards.
